Park Ridge Library to host voter registration drive on Saturday

The Park Ridge Library is partnering with the Park Ridge City Clerk to host a voter registration drive on Saturday morning.

Sal Raspanti, the city’s clerk and deputy registrar, will be at the library to help residents verify their voter status, register new voters and re-register voters who are new to Park Ridge at the Park Ridge Library on Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Reader Services Department.

Voters will need to be at least 18 years old by the next election, which will be November 5 presidential election, and have lived in their precinct for at least 30 days before the date of the election.

To register to vote, residents will need to supply proof of address, which can be a driver’s license, utility bill in the applicant’s name, student I.D., printed checkbook with the applicant’s name and address, birth certificate, or mail postmarked to an applicant’s address from a federal, state or city agency.

Registering to vote is free.
