One person shot at Fox Trace in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Richmond County investigators responded to the scene of a shooting Friday night just off Wrightsboro Road.

Around 9:43 p.m., Richmond County Deputies responded to reports of shots fired and one person down at Fox Trace.

Deputies reportedly located one male victim in the roadway. Investigators say he was shot at least once.

The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No word yet on a suspect.
