One arrested on murder complaint after child’s death
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A man has been arrested in connection to a child abuse investigation in March, according to police.
The Oklahoma City Police Department says officers responded to an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. Officers responded after receiving emergency calls regarding an infant not breathing.

Officials say the child was taken to a nearby hospital where they died shortly after. Investigators later learned the child had injuries consistent with abuse and issued an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Duwuan Betancourt.
According to OKCPD, Betancourt was arrested by U.S. Marshals on April 11 and booked into jail on a murder complaint.
