2023-2024 student GET passes still eligible for free rides

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Students will continue to receive free rides on Golden Empire Transit buses.

Students with a GET Student Pass for the 2023-2024 school year are encouraged to hold on to their pass. Every student, 7th grade and older, are required to present their student ID along with the pass.

Current and summer school ID cards are also accepted. GET provides free rides for students in Kindergarten, through college. This includes the Bakersfield Adult School, vocational schools and private high schools.
