Roark was convicted in January of two child sex crimes involving a minor under 12 years of age in Indian Country.

Roark represented himself during the trial and cross-examined the child. The child testified that Roark described Bible stories and how they could be “free in who they had sex with.” He also showed the pre-teen child pornography and told the child they would win the lottery if she would have sex with him, according to trial testimony.

Roark is a citizen of the Delaware Tribe of Indians and he will remain in custody pending transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
