Ohio Turnpike moving in Portage County after crash

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) — Several lanes have reopened after a a big crash on the Ohio Turnpike.

State officials reported that all three lanes of the Ohio Turnpike were blocked at milepost 202 eastbound in Windham, Portage County, due to a traffic incident at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

As of Thursday morning, the left and center eastbound lanes had reopened. The right eastbound lane was expected to open Thursday afternoon.

All westbound lanes were reopened.

According to a press release, the accident involved three commercial vehicles, all of which have since been removed from the scene.

A spokesperson for the Ohio Turnpike told FOX 8 News that one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
