North Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs reopens; Indian Canyon Drive remains closed

After closing Thursday morning due to low visibility resulting from blowing sand, North Gene Autry Trail at the wash in Palm Springs has re-opened. North Indian Canyon Drive remains closed through the wash because of low visibility, as well as sand build-up.
Sunday's weather forecast calls for west winds from 5 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 20 miles per hour.
