Noble restaurant looking for burglars caught on camera

NOBLE, Okla. (KFOR) – The owners of a popular restaurant are hoping somebody will recognize the people who walked in the back door and emptied their safe during Saturday’s dinner rush.

Oops! Man robs store right before officer walks in

It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday at Kendall’s Restaurant on Main Street in Noble. It’s still hard for Kendall’s co-owner Kimberly Cline to believe it all happened while the restaurant was packed with staff and customers.

“We had no idea,” Cline said. “It was the perfect time to come.”

But the restaurant’s surveillance video doesn’t lie.

“We see where two masked people came in the back door, came in [our office], locked the door, and then robbed us,” Cline said.

The video shows the people walking out of the building after just a few minutes, then getting into a truck and driving off.

Cline said she checked the surveillance video after walking into the back office at the end of the night and noticed the safe inside was empty.

The safe had been full after a busy week of sales, with thousands of dollars in cash inside.

“We don’t take credit cards,” Cline said. “And so I’m sure that that’s why we were targeted.”

That’s not all that raises red flags for her.

“They knew to go to [office] door,” Cline said. “So, obviously, they’ve been watching.”

Cline posted pictures of the surveillance video to Facebook. She says the owners of another business in town messaged her, saying of same people in her pictures visited their business earlier on Saturday with another person.

They sent her some photos from their store’s cameras, which show the people a little more clearly.

Cline now has to figure out how to pay her staff.

“I’ll figure it out. It’s just money. It’s just money. I mean, everybody’s okay,” Cline said. “To have somebody walk in and take all your money is, I don’t know, I don’t know. I don’t want to say it’s  hard, but we’ll make it.”

Cline also says she’s willing to give a substantial reward to anyone with information that can lead to the people being found.

Police are still investigating. If you know anything about what happened, please call the Noble Police Department.
