No injuries after fire in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS said Tuesday that nobody was hur in a fire in Northeast D.C. overnight.

Fire officials said crews responded to the call about a fire at a two-story house in the 1100 block of 48th St. NE around 1:35 a.m.

Firefighters did not find any victims after searching the home. People who live in the house next door were sheltered in one of the emergency response vehicles.

DC Fire and EMS said that as of Tuesday morning, there were no displacements.
