Nicole Kidman is confirmed to be returning to Nine Perfect Strangers for its second season.
The Hulu series based on Liane Moriarty's bestselling book premiered in 2021, and became the platform's most-watched original series ever on its first day.
While it started life as a limited series, in June it was confirmed that the show would return for a second season, with a new cast and a new location.
Kidman stars as Masha, the director of a health and wellness resort that promises transformation for guests from the city who arrive with their own struggles.

The first season starred Melissa McCarthy and followed nine strangers who take part in a ten-day retreat run by the mysterious health guru and have an experience they will never forget.
Deadline has reported that Kidman will reprise her role in the second season as well as her role of executive producer, with Masha welcoming a brand new group of guests to her unique resort.
Alongside this news was the announcement of new season two regulars Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), Mark Strong (Kingsman) and Lena Olin (One Life), who will play Peter, David and Helena respectively.
This new cast is in addition to the already announced actors for the second season, including Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age), Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) and Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness).

Also involved in the new instalment of Nine Perfect Strangers are Lucas Englander (Transatlantic), musician King Princess, Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Undeclared War) and Aras Aydin.
Meanwhile, Kidman is also involved in the third season of Big Little Lies, which is in the works five years after season two aired.
The actress recently revealed that her teenage daughter recently watched the series for the first time and encouraged her to make a third instalment.
She said: "She was like, 'No. There's no more discussion. The third series has to happen. I’m sick of the talk. Sick of circling it. Just get it done'. You need a teenager to go, 'Enough. Just do it'."
Nine Perfect Strangers season 1 is streaming on Prime Video in the UK and Hulu in the US.
