Niagara Falls police officer charged with 3 counts of rape

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man has been charged with multiple counts of rape, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Martice Porter, 21, has been charged with three counts of third-degree rape. Police said the investigation began following a report of a sex offense involving a juvenile victim.

Porter, who Sheriff Michael Filicetti says is a Niagara Falls police officer, was taken to the Niagara County Correctional Facility. He’s being held on $10,000 bail.
