Neptune Wine Festival canceled this weekend due to weather

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Neptune Spring Wine Fest that was originally scheduled for this weekend has been canceled, due to weather.

Weekend Event Guide: Inclement weather could be a factor

The Spring Wine Festival is an annual event in Virginia Beach. This would have been its 19th year. An email was sent out to ticketholders Friday morning about the cancelation. It is not expected to be rescheduled.

The email stated, in part, “It wouldn’t be like Virginia if the weather was predictable! Unfortunately, with the recent shifts in the weekend forecast, we have made the tough decision to cancel Neptune’s 19th Annual Spring Wine Festival scheduled for Saturday, May 18th.”

All ticketholders will be refunded. The refund will go to the original payment method within a week, according to organizers.
