Nashville teen arrested in connection with June 2023 shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An ongoing investigation into a June 2023 shooting in Nashville has resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old boy.
Isaiah Crawley was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after being identified as the second suspect involved in the shooting that injured two people on Foster Street, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The two victims reportedly went to Foster Street last June 29 to meet with Crawley and another suspect, 20-year-old Santez Beddingfield, when they were robbed and shot. One person was shot in the leg, while the other person sustained injuries to their abdomen.
Beddingfield was linked to the armed robbery shortly after due to an ankle monitor that police said he was required to wear after being arrested for a different shooting in late 2022. He was taken into custody on July 19, 2023, for attempted criminal homicide, among other charges.

Following his arrest at his East Nashville home, Crawley was charged in juvenile court with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated robbery, juvenile handgun possession and gun possession during the commission of a felony.
