Museum of the Grand Prairie hosting Civil War stories event

MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — The Museum of the Grand Prairie is hosting a special event this Sunday to provide visitors with an opportunity to immerse themselves in Civil War stories.

Visitors can learn more about the soldiers — some of which were from Champaign County — while they interact with artifacts from the Civil War era, learning about their historical context.
