MPD investigating shooting that killed man, injured another

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it’s investigating a shooting that killed a man and injured another in Southeast.

On May 5 at about 7:40 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Stanton Road for the reports of sounds of gunshots.

While police were at the scene, two victims who had been shot went to the hospital.

Man arrested in connection to road rage shooting in Fairfax County

One of the men died while the other one was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The man who died was identified as 31-year-old Anthony White, of Northwest.
