Mountain Metro bus involved in crash on Uintah Street

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) bus was involved in a crash on the west side of Colorado Springs Wednesday afternoon, April 24.

The crash was first reported by Colorado Springs Traffic just before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Uintah Street and Walnut Street, just west of I-25. The crash was reportedly blocking westbound traffic.

FOX21’s crew on the scene sent the above photos, showing an MMT bus having collided with a sedan. No word on any injuries to drivers or passengers. The westbound exit onto Uintah Street from I-25 is closed, causing backups on the ramp.
