Mother, children hospitalized after potential carbon monoxide exposure

(FOX40.COM) — A woman and her two children are in critical condition due a potential exposure of carbon monoxide, the Sacramento Fire Department said.

Before 3 p.m., officials said crews responded to a call of two sick children at an apartment on Center Parkway near Mack Road.

When crews arrived, officials said the two children and mother were in critical condition as a result of a gas generator producing carbon monoxide after running inside their residence.

All three were transported to the hospital.
