Monster trucks, margaritas and maple syrup: What to do in West Michigan this weekend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — An absolutely action-packed weekend is in store for much of West Michigan as we head into spring.

Here’s a look at what you can do the weekend of March 22:

Monster Jam 2024

This Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, and Friday and Saturday, Monster Jam returns to Van Andel Arena.

Several 12,000-pound monster trucks will be performing jaw-dropping stunts for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be motocross exhibitions at this year’s show.

Boho Bazaar at the Downtown Market

The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is hosting its first-ever Boho Bazaar this Sunday.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., check out the designs and creations from vendors at the pop-up market on the second floor.

BabyTron at The Intersection

Detroit rapper BabyTron will be performing in front of a sold-out crowd Friday night at The Intersection.

The show will also feature performances from Certified Traqpper, D$M and BabyFxce E.

Shipwreck discovery in Holland

The Michigan Shipwreck Research Association is inviting the public to learn more about a few recent discoveries.

The event will be held at the Knickerbocker Theatre in Holland on Saturday. Those in attendance will here from shipwreck hunters and learn more about the ships found on the Great Lakes this past year.

Sugarbush Festival at Blandford Nature Center

All things maple syrup will be celebrated this weekend at the Blandford Nature Center.

It’s the 54th annual Sugarbush Festival on Saturday. You will get to learn all about the process of cultivating maple syrup from Michigan’s trees and so enjoy some delicious treats as well.

The annual Grand Rapids Record and CD Show is back this Saturday.
