Inspected April 18. Jurisdiction: East Stroudsburg Borough. Violations: 1

Inspector observed a food employee certification displayed, but the individual is onsite very infrequently and not available to provide oversight, as evidenced by previous non-compliant inspection. A current employee has registered for approved class and plans to obtain required certification within 30 days.

This was a follow-up inspection after being out of compliance on Dec. 7, 2023, and March 28.

Arby’s: 111 Brown St., East Stroudsburg

Inspected April 18. Jurisdiction: East Stroudsburg Borough. Violations: 3

Inspector observed a broken floor tile inside of the door to the walk-in freezer, making the floor not a smooth, easily cleanable surface; food debris and spillage on the floor under shelving of walk-in freezer; and mops not being hung to air dry.

Camelback indoor waterpark/Aquatopia first floor: 193 Resort Drive, Tannersville

Inspected April 19. Jurisdiction: Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Violations: 4

Inspector observed fruit held at a too high a temperature in the bar area; a refrigerator not maintaining the required temperature; a pink and black mold-like substance on the interior surfaces of the ice machine (emptied, cleaned and sanitized during the inspection); and the drain under the bar for the soda dispensing system backing up and near overflow (facility has requested for maintenance to repair).
