Mobile teen accused of driving stolen vehicle

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An 18-year-old is accused of driving a stolen vehicle, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Lantern Way Friday around 5:30 p.m. by a man who had previously reported his vehicle stolen, according to the release.

The man called to notify police he had found his vehicle.

Man killed Sunday night in Prichard

The release said 18-year-old Justin Tessier was driving the vehicle. He was arrested and taken to Mobile Metro Jail, where he was charged with receiving stolen property.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
