A Missouri lottery player just won $1,000 a Week for Life

ST. PETERS,Mo. – What would you do if you won $1,000 per week for the rest of your life? Well, that isn’t just a hypothetical question for one Missouri lottery player. It appears that state officials are still looking for the winner.

Someone from St. Peters, Missouri, bought a winning Cash4Life Quick Pick ticket for the April 2 drawing. The winning ticket, bought at Dierbergs located at 217 Salt Lick Road, matched all five white-ball numbers: 26, 27, 43, 50, and 56. The chances of winning this prize are around one in 7.2 million.

The player missed the Cash Ball number, which was 3; matching it would have increased the prize to $1,000 a day for life.

Winners of Cash4Life have the option to receive their prize as a $1 million lump sum or in annual installments of $52,000, both before taxes, with the installment option guaranteeing payments for at least 20 years.

Winners should sign their tickets and keep them in a safe place. Prizes of this size should be claimed at a regional Missouri lottery office.
