Mild Wednesday before more weekend storms

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Heat and humidity combined with a front moving through the region led to more spotty downpours and storms developing late Tuesday afternoon. Heavy rain led to some flooding in the mountains, and a couple of the storms produced small hail!

As we lose the heating of the day, storms will fizzle and the night will be quiet weather-wise. Wednesday, expect a mostly cloudy day with again– a few more showers or storms possible, especially in the mountains. High temps won’t be quite as hot, but still in the low 80s.

Thursday, it’s back to full sunshine and heat. Rain and storm chances return Friday through the weekend as another front moves in.

This will bring high temps back into the 60s for Sunday and Monday.
