“This is a celebration of science through the lens of Star Wars,” said Matt Malinowski, director of education at the Atomic Museum. “We’re going to have all sorts of community partners here doing hands-on activities, we’re going to have Jedi training for you, and your favorite Star Wars characters will be here for you to meet as well.”

The event provides an opportunity for bright minds to explore the intersections between science and Star Wars for an evening of discovery and fun. It will feature science demos with scientists, tours of DRI research labs, and hands-on science activities. Also, come with an appetite because there will be food trucks onsite.

The “May the Science Be With You” event is Thursday, May 2 at the Atomic Museum from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to people of all ages. The museum is also offering half-off admission during the event.
