Man seriously injured in Northwest DC crash

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was left with life-threatening injuries after a car crash in Northwest D.C., officials said.

DC Fire and EMS said in a post on the platform X that the crash happened at the 3rd Street tunnel near New York Avenue.

Responders took the man to the hospital for treatment.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that two vehicles were involved in the crash. Police said that the man was unconscious and not breathing.
