Man critically injured in South Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after a shooting in South Memphis Wednesday night, Memphis Police say.

According to reports, officers responded to the shooting in the area of Rayner Street and East McLemore Avenue at 8:45 p.m.

A man was taken to Crump Station by private vehicle and transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

MPD: Teen arrested after suspects record downtown attack

Police say the victim and suspect know one another. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a black SUV.
