Erie's Splash Lagoon nominated in best US indoor water park poll. Where to cast your vote.
For the eighth time since 2015, Splash Lagoon at 8091 Peach St., has been nominated for the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.
The USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards highlights the best of the best in contests which cover categories from destinations to food and drink and more.
The nominees in each category are submitted by a panel of experts and selected by the 10Best editors.
Splash Lagoon, along with 20 other indoor water parks across the nation, was nominated to compete for the 10Best Award.
Previously, Splash Lagoon was nominated for this honor in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

"It validates that we are one of the best in the country in family-friendly, attractive indoor water parks," said Nick Scott Sr., president of Erie-based Scott Enterprises.
Where can you vote for Splash Lagoon?
Splash Lagoon fans can vote once a day up until April 22. Voting can be done at www.10Best.com.
"Every vote counts," Scott said. "It would be something to help put Erie on the map more than it is already ...."
The winners will be announced on April 26. Through Tuesday, Splash Lagoon was No. 2 on the 10best vote leaderboard.
"We're happy to be in the top 10," Scott said. "... if we ever became No. 1, I think it would be a great thing for the city of Erie and for our company."
About Splash Lagoon
Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park resort was opened in 2003 and has welcomed more than 6 million guests. More than 325,000 visitors each year enjoy the 84-degree indoor atmosphere.
The park features nine water slides, pools, hot tubs, a 12-level interactive tree house, tree tops ropes course and a 6,500 square foot arcade.

The park is connected to three hotels and is right off of Interstate 90 which helps support visitors from all around including Canada, New York, Ohio and other states.
Updates to Splash Lagoon
In 2022, Splash Lagoon underwent major renovations. Those renovations included a new million-dollar multi-level tree house which houses two new slides, a new kids froggy splash pad and a brand new prize room in the Treasure Island Arcade.
