Cherokee Nation honors veterans with 10th Warrior flight

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Cherokee Nation is giving back to its Veterans with a show of appreciation, sending them to Washington on the 10th Warrior flight.

Veterans with the Cherokee Nation were able to take a 4-day trip to see the National War Memorials and the Nation’s Capitol as a way of saying thank you for serving our country.

The Cherokee Warriors are expected to tour the World War 2, Korean War and Vietnam Memorial sites before returning home.
