Loudoun County animal shelter holding free adoption event

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Loudoun County Animal Services is offering free adoptions on Saturday for the BISSELL Pet Foundation Empty the Shelters event.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 11, you can adopt any pet for a waived fee. You will have to pass the standard adoption screening process — but once you do so, you can bring home your new pet for free.

The shelter said that it can not process any new adoptions after 5:30 p.m., so if you would like to adopt the same day, you should get there by 5 p.m.
