New Loomis Costco has official opening date

(FOX40.COM) — After several years of waiting and a recent postponement Costco has officially announced the opening date for their Loomis location.

Costco’s website shows that the new Placer County location will opening at 8 a.m. on May 23.

Located at 4101 Sierra College Blvd., the new location will offer the usual warehouse shopping experience along with a tire service center, pharmacy, optical department, hearing aids and food court.

Unlike the popular Roseville Costco location, this new Loomis location will not have a gas station.

Grocery Outlet in Arden-Arcade closing its doors

This will be the warehouse retailers second location in Placer County with a third on the way in the western area of Roseville at 5200 Baseline Road.

According to the city of Roseville, this second location in Placer County’s largest city is anticipated to break ground in 2024 for a 2025 opening date.

One of the newest Costco locations to open in the Sacramento region is in Natomas on the south side of Arena Blvd., between E. Commerce Way and Interstate 5.
