Ky. 207 North closed today in Carter

Highway crews will temporarily close part of Ky. 207 just north of U.S. 60 in Carter County on Monday for drainage repairs.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. today, April 29, crews will close Ky. 207 at the U.S. 60 intersection (milepoint 2.3) to dig through the highway and replace a drainage pipe underneath. The road will be closed to all traffic until 3 p.m., or until work is complete.

Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
