Tennis attire like active dresses and skorts are so in right now. Tennis skirts might be trendy because of the Challengers hype or maybe just because they’re cute and perfect for skort weather. Whatever the reason, Target’s Wild Fable brand just dropped a new skort meant for light work (and for looking cute), plus it looks so similar to an Anthropologie style five times the price.

As part of Target’s new ButterBliss drop, Wild Fable released their Women's Mini ButterBliss Skort. It’s currently $18 and comes in three colors—black, green and white—with white piping on all of them. As its name suggests, it’s a mini skirt with a very high slit and built-in shorts. It’s a high-rise fit with a “slim-fit silhouette” and elastic waistband.

As we’ve reported in the past, “ButterBliss” is the name of the super-soft material from Wild Fable, which they’ve used in loungewear. The “extra-lightweight fabric with spandex” is made from 83% recycled polyester and 17% spandex. Wild Fable doesn’t really make workout gear and isn’t one of Target’s activewear brands. However, their ButterBliss material is definitely comfortable and breathable enough for a light workout. These pieces are movable, stretchy clothes that can be cute loungewear or great for going out.

Other pieces from this ButterBliss release include their Women's Micro Butter Tank Top ($8)—which matches the mini skort perfectly—and the Women's Keyhole ButterBliss Knit Mini Slip Dress ($20). And while the popular shopping Instagram, @best.of.target, compared these new items to something from ALO Yoga, their skort looks more like one from Anthropologie.

We’re talking about the LSPACE Campbell Skort which is currently $88. Its slit isn’t as open, but the black body and white piping evoke a similar style. The Campbell Skort is also made from a polyester and spandex blend and is high-rise.

Abercrombie & Fitch also has a workout skirt, their YPB sculptLUX Lined Wrap Skirt ($45), that looks very similar to the green version of Target’s skort.

Considering both of those are more expensive than Target’s Women's Mini ButterBliss Skort, and shoppers seem to really like the ButterBliss material, it’s worth a try if you’re looking for a trendy tennis skort.
