According to officials, the pass system — which required people wanting to access the areas affected by the storms to check in, ensuring a controlled environment — has been discontinued as of 6 p.m. Sunday. However, there will still be a heavy law enforcement presence within the area.

Anyone driving through the area is asked to do so cautiously, patiently, and slowly because, as mentioned in Sunday’s statement, “There will be no tolerance for citizens driving through the area recklessly.” If you need to report any reckless driving, reach out to the Maury County Sheriff’s Department at 931-388-5151.
