Law enforcement training taking place in Harvey County

WALTON, Kan. (KSNW) — Residents of Harvey County may see a lot of emergency activity today.

The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office says their department and other agencies are conducting training near Walton. The training will continue throughout the day.

Hutchinson Fire Department responds to house fire that caused other fires

Those who live near the area may hear sirens and other loud noises during the exercises. Those traveling on Highway 50 may encounter a larger than normal number of law enforcement and other emergency vehicles.

The training should be completed by afternoon.
