Larimer deputies seek more victims after man accused of child sexual assault
DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver man was arrested by Larimer County law enforcement on suspicion of human trafficking, and investigators are worried he may have more potential victims.
Ivan Banuelos Gandara, 21, was arrested on felony charges of:
Human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude
Four counts of soliciting for child prostitution
Two counts of sexual assault on a child
Enticement of a child
Internet luring of a child
Sexual exploitation of a child
Offenses relating to marijuana (a drug felony)
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office began investigating in late February this year after they were notified of a child sexual assault victim. The victim told deputies Gandara offered her cash and paraphernalia in exchange for sexual acts with himself and others.

“We have to protect our children from those that would seek to exploit their vulnerability,” said Larimer County Sheriff John Feyen in a release. “We strive to foster a community where all children can feel safe, secure, and able to thrive.”
During the investigation, law enforcement identified at least one other victim.
Gandara was booked into the Larimer County Jail and given a $75,000 bond by the Larimer County Court.
