Lake Forest house fire heavily damages second floor: DFD

DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Lake Forest home was heavily damaged during a Friday morning fire, News 5 has learned.

The Daphne Fire Department received a call around 10 a.m. from the homeowner, who reportedly heard crackling noises in their Bay View Drive home.

The homeowner then went upstairs and discovered it was on fire, according to the DFD.

Firefighters reportedly knocked down the fire in about 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported, but the home received heavy damage to the second floor, News 5 has learned.

The fire’s cause is under investigation, according to the DFD.
