Kings County Public Health building damaged in fire

HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fire crews are investigating a fire at the Kings County Department of Public Health Monday morning.

The Hanford Fire Department says the fire started around 2:30 a.m. in a utility building on Campus Drive and Lacey Boulevard.

Crews say it then spread to the main building. Investigators say the fire caused significant damage. No one was on site when crews arrived.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
