Kansas man arrested on stolen property, drug charges after crashing scooter
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg Police arrested a man they say crashed a stolen scooter while carrying illicit drugs.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, an officer with PPD says she watched John Robertson Jr., 32, fail to navigate a turn down a city street crashing the stolen scooter. Robertson Jr. allegedly gave a false name to the officer when she came to investigate.

In their investigation, the responding officer says she discovered the scooter was stolen out of Pittsburg.
Robertson Jr. was taken to Ascension Via Christi for treatment before police transported him to the Crawford County Jail. At the jail, authorities verified Robertson Jr.’s real name.
Robertson Jr. faces several drug possession charges along with interference with law enforcement for giving a fake name. He is being held without bond.
