Joshua Goldner is Optimists' Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

May 24—Detective Joshua Goldner of the Terre Haute Police Department has been selected by the Breakfast Optimist Club as the 2024 Kevin Artz Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.

The award recognizes Goldner's "unwavering dedication to our community, his commitment to the Terre Haute Police Department, and his outstanding work within the department's Juvenile Investigation Unit," THPD said on its social media sites.

"Goldner's relentless pursuit of dangerous individuals in his role as a juvenile investigator is unparalleled. Despite his demanding responsibilities, he consistently finds time to organize, attend, and participate in numerous community events throughout the year, demonstrating his deep commitment to public service," THPD said.
