SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. (KSNW) — The Kansas Jayhawks men are headed home after a blowout loss to Gonzaga ended their NCAA Tournament hopes on Saturday, 89-68.

The Jayhawks were led in scoring by Hunter Dickinson who finished with 15. Dajuan Harris and KJ Adams Jr. joined him in double-figure scoring with 10 a piece.

The first half was tight, with both teams able to score seemingly at will. By the time both teams headed to the locker rooms, the Jayhawks had a one-point lead, 44-43.

Coming out of the second half, though, it was all Gonzaga. The hot shooting for the Jayhawks cooled down and the Zags, who had five score in double figures, upended them by 23 points in the final 20 minutes.

As a team, the Jayhawks shot just 38.6% from the field and 40.9% from three, while allowing the Zags to shoot 60.3% and 53.5%, respectively.

With the loss, the Jayhawks will head home while the Zags will head to the Sweet 16.
