Ithaca Police: suspect arrested after pushing man through window

ITHACA, N.Y. (WETM) — Ithaca Police announced the arrest of a suspect who police claim caused serious injury to a man after pushing them through a window in early March.

According to Ithaca Police, Marc M. Scutt was arrested on Friday, March 29, after an incident on March 13 resulted in a man needing to be airlifted after he was pushed through a glass window.

Scutt was arrested and charged with assault in the second degree, a class D felony, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Police say that Scutt was processed in Ithaca City Court. No other updates have been provided on the victim and their condition.
