Irvington teen dies in Mobile County car crash

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An Irvington teen is dead after a Saturday night single-vehicle crash, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.

The crash reportedly occurred around 11:01 p.m. on Irvington Bayou La Batre Highway near Easy Way Street, just 5 miles southwest of Mobile.

According to an ALEA news release, the 18-year-old’s 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 left the roadway and overturned.

The teen was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division said no more information is available, but they are investigating the incident.
