Investigation underway after two cars stolen in Luzerne County

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An investigation is underway after two cars were stolen Thursday night in Luzerne County.

According to the Hazleton City Police Department, on Thursday around 7:30 a.m., officers were called to Peace Street and 3rd Street for two cars being stolen back to back.

Traffic stop results in drugs, guns seized, juveniles charged

The first car stolen was a Black Ford Escape, and the second was a Black Honda Odyssey. Both were stolen from the front of the owner’s home and shortly located a few blocks down from the houses, officers noted.
