Interstate 80 in New Jersey: Eastbound right lane closures start Monday

Interstate 80 eastbound's right lane will be closed on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap toll bridge starting April 1 for several months during construction.

The closures are scheduled to be daily at the same times, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., until summer 2024.

The I-80 right lane will be closed from milepost 0.5 after the exit ramp to River Road in Hardwick to mile post 1.5 before the weigh station/U-turn in Knowlton, Warren County.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation issued a traffic advisory stating that the closures are necessary to repair the retaining wall. "If work is completed early, the lane will reopen sooner," NJDOT said.
