All Indianapolis Public Library branches will be closed April 8 due to anticipated traffic and delays before and after that afternoon's solar eclipse.

Thousands of people are expected to travel to Indianapolis for the event, since the Circle City will experience about four minutes of totality.

Although branches will be closed, those interested in checking out new electronic materials may do so at bit.ly/3xmtYaH. Materials may also be renewed online or by phone at 317-269-5222. Materials may be returned at any of the branches' dropboxes.
