Culinary Union calls for 48-hour strike at Virgin Hotel Las Vegas

Earlier this week, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, located on Paradise Road, accused the union of unfair labor practices and filed the charge with the National Labor Relations Board.

In 2023, the Culinary Union voted to authorize a citywide strike. Contracts for more than 50,000 workers have since been settled, winning the “best contract ever,” the union said.

The next round of negotiations between Virgin and the union is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 14.
