Human trafficking, child porn suspect pleads not guilty

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 26-year-old man was ordered held without bail Monday after pleading not guilty to charges including human trafficking of a minor and possession of child pornography.

Adrian Gallardo is due back in court later this month.

An investigation that began late last year resulted in Gallardo’s arrest last week on suspicion of human trafficking of a juvenile, procuring a juvenile for sex acts, sex acts with someone 10 or younger and pandering of someone under 16, police said.

He posted bond and was released, then arrested a second time after being found in possession of child pornography, police said.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111 or the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
