Your Hometown Road Trip visits Thomson and talks about its history

THOMSON, Ga. (WJBF) – The Your Hometown Road Trip team visited Thomson again and this time they focused on history.

First they stopped in to the McDuffie Museum to talk with Museum Treasurer, Lewis Smith about what the museum is all about it, and what people can find in it.

To follow up, Kim Vickers showcased Blind Willie Mctell in a Hometown History Segment.

Brandon also stopped by R.L. Norris Elementary during Black History Month. To end the month the students had a live museum. Parents were excited to see the students portray different people for Black History Month.

To wrap things up, Brandon met up with former Thomson football head Coach, John Barnett to talk about the Brickyard, his books, and more.

Thomson is full of history, and the team will definitely be back to explore more.
