HOLTON (KSNT) – A Holton man has been arrested for allegedly criminally using an explosive.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that Rex Dwaine Larrison, 64, of Holton was arrested and booked Thursday into the Jackson County Jail for criminal use of an explosive. This arrest comes after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) and the Holton Police Department served a search warrant on Larrison’s property in the 400 block of East Sixth Tuesday, April 23.

Investigators searched the 3.7-acre property as well as numerous outbuildings and uninhabited houses. The search warrant concluded Thursday morning.
