HF Sinclair holds emergency response drill in El Dorado

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — HF Sinclair finished its scheduled emergency response drill on Wednesday.

The company held a two-day emergency drill, with the first drill being Tuesday at the El Dorado Civic Center from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The second day of the drill was at the refinery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Butler County Emergency Management and Butler County EMS also participated in the drill.

“Exercises such as this are conducted to validate emergency response plans and permit training in a safe and controlled environment,” the news release said.
