Harrisburg students build bat boxes

(WHTM)– Contrary to their scary Halloween reputation bats are really our friends.

Students with Reach Cyber Charter School in Harrisburg built them new homes. They met with guests from the Philadelphia Zoo and the Pennsylvania Bat Rescue to build bat boxes.

The more land that is developed the fewer places bats have to roost.
